CoolMax® is a "moisture transport fiber" developed by DuPont that provides wicking capability. It is a four-channel fiber that when spun into a fabric helps wick moisture quickly away from the skin (when the body perspires) to the outer layer of the fabric. CoolMax® is used in men’s and women’s underwear, hosiery/socks, T-shirts, sports bras, hats/gloves, and pants/shorts. CoolMax® focuses on moisture management rather than temperature management.
